Ayah Player is a Quran recitation listening app made by Nowari Solutions. This Privacy Policy explains what information Ayah Player collects, uses, stores, and shares.

Information Stored on Your Device

Ayah Player stores some app preferences locally on your device so the app can work properly.

This may include:

  • Favorite reciters
  • Recent playbacks
  • Playback position
  • Selected display language
  • Selected theme mode

This information is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to Nowari servers.

Audio Streaming

Ayah Player streams Quran recitation audio from Way2Quran. When you play a recitation, your device connects to Way2Quran's media servers to load the audio stream.

Way2Quran may receive technical information that is normally sent when your device requests online content, such as your IP address, device or browser network request information, and the requested audio file.

Ayah Player does not control Way2Quran's server logs or privacy practices.

Reciter Images and App Content

Ayah Player includes bundled reciter metadata and profile images from Way2Quran with permission. Some app content may be loaded from bundled app files, while audio is streamed from Way2Quran.

Analytics and Tracking

  • Ayah Player currently does not include analytics SDKs.
  • Ayah Player does not track you across apps or websites.
  • Ayah Player does not use your data for advertising.

Permissions

Ayah Player may request or use the following Android permissions:

  • Internet access: used to stream Quran recitation audio.
  • Foreground service and media playback: used to continue audio playback while the app is in the background.
  • Notifications: used for media playback controls, where supported by Android.

Ayah Player does not use these permissions to collect personal information.

Children's Privacy

Ayah Player is suitable for general audiences, but it is not directed specifically at children. Ayah Player does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Sharing

Ayah Player does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Ayah Player does not share your locally stored favorites, recents, or playback preferences with Nowari.

Audio streaming requests are made directly to Way2Quran when you play recitations.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because Ayah Player stores favorites, recents, playback position, and preferences locally on your device, this data remains on your device until you remove it. You can delete this data by clearing the app's data in Android settings or by uninstalling the app.

Security

Locally stored app data is kept on your device and protected by the normal security controls of Android and your device. No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure, but Ayah Player is designed to avoid collecting unnecessary personal information.

Changes to This Policy

Nowari may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If the policy changes, the updated version will be posted on the Nowari website.
